Many debates have been going around about abortion, whether it be ethnic debates or legal aspects of abortion.
An abortion is a termination of a mammalian/fetus from the female uterus resulting in it's death. There are two types of abortion, one being a spontaneous abortion which in another term means a miscarriage due to complications that may arise during pregnancy. The second being an induced abortion, a decision that isn't to be made lightly and results in a surgical or medical removal of the fetus from the uterus.
Some make the decision to abort their pregnancy because of complications - for example a disability, others choose to abort their pregnancy because their too young or couldn't cope, there are many more reasons why people do it but I want to keep it short.
My opinion on abortion is that it shouldn't be done unless there is a justified reason for it to take place. If it is a risk to ones health or the fetus would be better off, given certain circumstances ie medical problems. Teenagers who become pregnant through unprotected sex should not be allowed an abortion as it would be their own fault that they are pregnant in the first place. This I feel is a selfish act, to kill an innocent human being over ones silliness.
Many people may disagree with what I say, but I think that if you become pregnant, you should love and cherish your baby no matter what, through thick and thin.
I personally would never have an abortion, unless it is medically impossible for me to go through pregnancy without putting my health at risk - for example - I recently had a Cesarean section nearly 6 months ago. If I was to become pregnant again so soon, It would not physically be possible for me to get through pregnancy due to the incision that they made.
I'm intrigued to know peoples views on this particular subject.
How many people are for abortion and how many are against?
